Wednesday, October 16th 2019 from 17.45 to 18.45.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS

The names of your society Delegates need to be notified to me by email not less that 2 weeks before the date of the 1st General Assembly. This will be Tuesday, October 1st 2019. Society delegates are requested to visit the World Federation Secretariat located in Organiser Office 4.102 in the Melbourne Convention Centre for credentialing on Monday, October 14th from 09.00am. The number of society Delegates is determined by the total number of members of each national scientific society using the following criteria:

- up to one hundred and fifty Members, one Delegate (up to 150)
- between one hundred and fifty one and three hundred and fifty Members, two Delegates (151-350)
- between three hundred and fifty one and one thousand Members, three Delegates (351-1000)
- over one thousand and one Members, four Delegates. (>1001)

There are separate rules governing the allocation of Delegates where there is more than one member society within a country and also separate rules for Federation members. Please let me know () if you need any clarification of the Delegate entitlement for your society or if you wish to provide an update of the number your society members for the Official Register which is used to calculate the Delegate entitlement.

Finally and most importantly, member societies are respectfully reminded that no society Delegates are permitted to enter the General Assembly or to vote unless the society membership dues have been paid in full prior to the start of the General Assembly. If you have not paid the membership dues, please now give this your urgent attention to ensure your society is represented at the General Assembly.
