Journal of Critical Care

The Executive Officers and Council of the World Federation of Societies of Intensive and Critical Care Medicine are pleased to announce that in collaboration with Elsevier Inc, the Journal of Critical Care is now the Official Journal of the World Federation. The first edition which reflects this official status was published in March 2008 and future editions will appear quarterly.

The Editor-in-Chief, Professor Philip Lumb and his Editorial Board colleagues are committed to publishing research articles related to health systems research with the new goal of improving patient care by integrating critical care systems knowledge into practice behaviour.

We would hope that National Societies of Intensive and Critical Care Medicine will make all their members aware of this important initiative and encourage them to subscribe. Further information about the Journal of Critical Care, including subscription details can be found at the following address www.jccjournal.org
