Training in Intensive Care at Mumbai, and Charing Cross Hospital, London 1981 -2.
Practising as a Consultant in Internal Medicine and Critical Care at Pune, India from 1983 till todate.
Founder - Executive Committee member of the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine since inception in 1993.
Pioneering work in the development of this specialty in India President, Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine. 2000 -2002
Member of ICS [ UK ] since 1983, SCCM [ USA ] since 1987, elected Fellow of American College of Critical Care Medicine [ FCCM ] 2000. First consultant from India to get this.
Elected on the Executive Council of the WORLD FEDERATION OF SOCITIES FOR INTENSIVE AND CRITICAL CARE MEDICINE. [ 2001 - 2209 ] First consultant from India to be elected on the council.

Attended numerous International [including world congress] and all National conferences on critical care as faculty.
Presented and published a no. of papers in scientific journals.
Fields of Interest : Mechanical Ventilation, Sepsis, Antibiotic resistance, Organisation Training in critical care.
