Georges Offenstadt. Vice director (1977-97) and since 1997, director of the Medical ICU (14 beds) of Saint-Antoine hospital, a Medical University Hospital of 800 beds in Paris.

Patients' care has always been and remains his priority, his two other missions of Medical school staff being teaching and research. He is at present the coordinator of intensive care teaching program in Paris region. His main topics of research are sepsis and infectious diseases, procedures evaluation,hydro-electrolytic disorders, prevention of GI stress hemorrhage.
In 2000 undertook cooperation with Pakistan institute of medical sciences and launched the first public medical ICU in North Pakistan in Islamabad.
